Spaces we inhabit should make us feel good, and enhance our well-being and happiness. We consider the WELL Building Standards in our design approach, ensuring that the spaces we create actively support health, wellbeing, and productivity.
A space that promotes wellbeing considers:
Air & Light – Maximising natural light and ensuring superior air quality
Comfort & Biophilia – Creating calming environments and opportunities to connect with nature
Mind & Movement – Encouraging physical activity and mental restoration
Community & Connection – Designing spaces that foster positive social interaction
By prioritising these elements, we help businesses, organisations, and communities create healthier environments where people can truly thrive.
'WELL building standards are grounded in a body of medical research that explores the connection between the buildings where we spend more than 90 percent of our time, and the health and wellness impacts on us as occupants.' https://lnkd.in/gWfTmcb
If you resonate with the importance of wellbeing, have any of your own insights, or examples of designing for wellbeing, we would love to hear from you!
Alternatively, if you’d like assistance in navigating the design process with wellbeing at its core, we’d love to collaborate.
