"Working closely with the Paultons team since early 2008, HPW created a hew scheme for our front of house admissions, goods inwards, service, storage and engineering areas which, despite the challenges presented by being sited within a National Park, was successfully passed by our local planning authority, the New Forest National Park Authority. HPW have also assisted us to create a new indoor play area, something different with sustainable credentials. The result was not what I had ever imagined, however Paultons will have something unique within the New Forest, the application for which has unanimous support from the Planning Committee. HPW have a passion for doing things differently. First and foremost an architectural practice, the key to what they want to achieve with every project is "Sustainable Architecture."

I recommend HPW to the person wanting to create something different and unique. A commercially aware team with a great understanding of the needs of retail and leisure enterprise, HPW have the ability to become involved in any sized project whether large or small, and cope with whatever is asked of them."

- Richard Mancey, Managing Director, Paultons Park

"In 2001 we realised that to future proof our business we needed to build a new leisure facility. Whilst our park enjoys an enviable position on the Jurassic Coast, England's only natural World Heritage Site, it did however create significant challenges in terms of gaining Planning Approval. Given their track record on park projects (such as at Sandy Balls), the commission was awarded to BH&HPA Associate Members, HPW Architecture. Through good design, a sensitive approach and building a close relationship with the Planners, approval was secured under the delegated powers, meaning that our application didn't even go to the Planning Committee.

Our new state-of-the-art facility, the Jurassic Fun Centre, incorporates indoor pools, 6 lane AMF ten-pin bowling, gym, bar / restaurant and roof terrace. The new facility has really helped make a difference to our business, providing a great option for customers during inclement weather. It has kept guests on the park and we have had a large amount of excellent feedback."

- Rod Condliffe, Director of Freshwater Beach Holiday Park

"Sandy Balls Holiday Centre has a close, long-standing relationship with HPW and collectively, we share a huge commitment to sustainability. They have the ability to skilfully design and implement commercially viable, cutting-edge sustainable projects, so we naturally chose them to work on our recent ambitious development. The team partnered us superbly throughout. They were a pleasure to work with, remaining professional, calm and collected at all times. They really went the extra mile to ensure the project's complete success. There have been numerous challenges to overcome during the project.

However, it is now complete and we are absolutely delighted with the results. The design complements its surroundings and is as sustainable as it could be.

Furthermore, since completion of the project, feedback from our guests has been excellent. One word that would sum up our business relationship would be - Partnership."

- Tim Howell, Managing Director of Sandy Balls Holiday Centre

"I have worked closely with HPW for more than 10 years on a number of leisure projects ranging from £0.5m to more than £5m. We have been able to effectively step back from projects to a degree in the confident knowledge that the build and our budget were in safe hands. We have been very impressed by HPW's understanding and experience of leisure projects and some of the challenges those can bring such as working in a live environment. They are well acquainted with leisure and make useful contributions to our commercial needs as well as design and build elements of the projects.

In short, despite going through some challenging projects I have always felt wonderfully advised and protected by HPW's service. We have always received good advice, great design and, above all, a real determination to achieve the best result for our business in terms of quality, cost and time. I would not hesitate to recommend them."

- Andrew Howe, Director & Former CEO Bridge Leisure

"In March 2003 l bought the Dolphin Hotel in Southampton. We appointed HPW as our architects and interior designers. The hotel is a grade two starred property and HPW undertook obtaining all the local council consents we needed. We worked closely with their team and, after a mere two months, we started work on the project.

The project involved a total remodel of the ground floor, creating two new bars, a restaurant and new reception; the refurbishment of 65 bedrooms and furnishing each with contemporary art; and the creation of a lane of shops. We had allocated £1.2m for the project and HPW quickly came to grips with the tight budget and timescales involved. The team constantly looked for more cost effective solutions to our build, as well as sourcing all the interior design details such as furnishings and light fittings.

We managed to complete the project on time and on budget. Having worked with many architects over the years, it was refreshing to work with a company that understood our ambitions and worked towards them - instead of creating their own agenda, which inevitably leads to overspend and time delays. I would have no hesitation in recommending HPW."

- Robert P Musker, Managing Director of Dolphin Hotel
